In class we learned how to use a microscope and look at prepared slides. We also learned how to make slides properly and look at specimens that we were interested in. We prepared and looked at sand from ko'ie'ie fish pond. You looked at the various grains of sand. Then we added vinegar to the sand. What were the various hypotheses presented by students? H1: H2: Hi: Remember a hypothesis is a testable statement that can be supported or rejected with an experiment. What was the experiment? What happened? What hypothesis can you support? What hypothesis can you reject? What was the gas that created the bubbles? Can we relate what we did in class to green house gas emissions, global warming, and ocean acidification?
